Flymo and McCulloch

Last week we received a generous equipment donation of loppers and secateurs from Flymo and a trimmer from McCulloch, making a big difference to the activities we can offer our clients.

The trimmer has been put to good use by one of our Green School students on his first outreach project at the end of last week and the loppers have already proved invaluable in the garden, particularly because we didn’t have a set beforehand! Secateurs are a key part of any garden and it’s great to have a good quality pair on hand throughout the day.

Equipment donations such as this are invaluable to us and a big thank you goes to both companies for their support.

Flymo has been established since 1964 and is still situated in its original factory in County Durham. The company celebrated its 50th birthday with the release of its brand new robot lawn mower. These lawn mowers now mean you no longer have to cut the lawn or empty a grass box ever again.

Designing and manufacturing garden equipment for over 60 years, McCulloch has grown beyond what founder Robert McCulloch could ever have imagined when he produced the first light one man chainsaw.

As a leading global brand, McCulloch is recognised across Europe for producing a range of garden tools that not only look good – but have the Power To Get The Job Done.
