Volunteers

The Therapy Garden could not exist without our committed team of volunteers.

Our volunteers recently received the Queens Award for Voluntary Service for 2017. This is the highest award achievable within the voluntary sector and is the equivalent to an MBE. We already knew our volunteers were fabulous but now it is official!

If you would like to join us then we are always looking for volunteers to help with the following:

Supporting students and clients working in the garden on horticulture projects
Garden maintenance
Carpentry and building maintenance tasks
Fundraising support
Volunteer drivers and chaperones to transport students/ clients to and from the garden in our vehicle.

We are particularly looking for volunteers to help specifically with garden maintenance.

If you are able to offer your time please enrol via the online form on this page. If you would like more information or to visit the garden before you enrol then please get in touch with Charlotte Brady on 01483 813846 or charlotte.brady@thetherapygarden.org.
